Practice Area

For golfers who love to hone their skills through practice, The Virginian offers a spacious, beautiful, and highly functional practice area which is conveniently located very near the clubhouse and the first tee. Every shot you will face on the course can be practiced in this area, which includes:

  • A double-ended range with greens accessible from both ends, giving the practicing golfer flagged targets every fifty yards.
  • A 12,000 square foot putting green with plenty of undulations.
  • A practice bunker area for short-to-mid-length bunker shots along with a separate uniform zoysia grass chipping and pitching area, both with flagged target holes in regulation bent grass greens

Practice Holes

The highlight of the practice area is three full practice holes: one par three and two par fours. Not only does this give the player a chance to warm up before a match or a tournament, it also gives beginning players, children, and older members a place to play without the inhibitions they'll feel on the big course.
