Time moves slowly in the historic towns of Bristol and Abingdon, VA, yet between the two cities is where you'll find an exceptional golf community called The Virginian Golf Club. With a masterfully designed course by Tom Fazio, The Virginian has been honored as one of the best in America by several national publications.
At The Virginian, we have built a course that honors the land it's built upon, which fulfills the commitment we made to the owners, and which provides a thrill for the player. You won't find a better course anywhere.
The social and recreational hub of the community is the 44,000 square-foot stone and wood clubhouse. Designed by Atlanta architects, Chapman Coyle Chapman, the clubhouse overlooks both sides of the course and features exclusive dining facilities, men's and women's locker rooms, the pro shop, bar (for snacks and drinks), administrative offices and Boardroom.
The Virginian offers a variety of home sites with views of mountains, lakes and the golf course, including numerous heavily wooded home sites amid strands of mature oaks, poplar and evergreens.
Located midway between Bristol and Abingdon, The Virginian is just minutes away from a myriad of cultural and recreational activities.
